Rachel Green Halloween

This year my friends threw a Halloween Bonfire and after much Pinterest searching and no clue what I was going to do, I realized that the answer lay within my favorite show of ALL TIME- Friends! I decided that I wanted to be Rachel Green, the spunky fashionista who worked at the gang's favorite coffee hangout, Central Perk. I absolutely loved being Rachel for a night. I felt surprisingly confident and right at home in this outfit. It was strange but exhilarating.

I wanted to make an apron with the Central Perk logo on it so I took a pillow case and constructed this make shift apron. Then I created a stencil after studying the logo off a picture I found. It took me 4 hours to get just right.
The K got a little wonky but for my first time ever trying something like this I'm really am proud with how it turned out!

I paired a black dress from H and M, with a black turtleneck, with some speckled gray tights from Express. For shoes I wore some chunky black booties.
For my makeup I really focused on her dark lips and really smudgy brown based eye shadow.

What are you dressing up as this Halloween? Whatever it is <3 Stay Fabulous <3

"So You're Moving" - Living Out of a Suitcase

Transitioning between houses can be so stressful when moving and often times I've found that you end up living out of your suitcase for a good three weeks. This year when I moved my family lived in a hotel for a couple weeks while we were waiting to close on our house. While continental breakfast was nice to have everyday, living in a hotel is not as fun as Zack and Cody from Suite Life made it out to be. You are under no circumstances allowed to ride on luggage carts, there is no game room, and there was no quirky electrician named Arwin.

Anyways here are my tips and tricks for living out of your suitcase!

1. Pack Clothes Wisely
Packing your suitcase for moving, is almost like packing for summer camp. You want to look cute but also be comfy. You need to make sure you pick out outfits that work with each other. If you are moving in the summer I find that jean shorts are definitely your best friend. They match with everything and you can pair them with sneakers or flip flops and they'll still work. Also don't forget to bring a dress that is easy to throw on if you're heading out quickly and also if you need something fancier to wear to church or something you are covered.

If you're hotel has a pool don't forget to bring your bathing suit!

2. Maximize the Potential of your Makeup Bag
The fact is, you are not going to be able to take your entire arsenal of makeup with you during this time so it's important to pack the essentials. My top tips are to pack waterproof mascara, a pretty neutral lip shade, one eye shadow pallet, a primer, and definitely your favorite foundation. Obviously anything you pack extra is up to you! Just as a side note: make sure to pack things that travel well-be cautious with things that have mirrors or loose powders. Also don't forget to pack hair essentials like pony-tail holders or any hot tools you need on a regular basis.

3. Pack more than one pair of shoes
You are definitely going to want to pack some flip flops for your trips to the hotel pool. I also like to take some brown or black sandals that are comfortable for walking in, and a pair of sneakers for any activities that your parents spring on you! NEVER FORGET TO PACK SOCKS. If you are experiencing lower temperatures bring some neutral boots/booties.

Get Out the Door Faster!- Back To School Tips

Here's the truth. I'm sixteen years old and I can't drive. The only chance I have to get to school on time is taking the bus. And no matter how much you plead, the bus is not going to wait for you. We have ALL faced the dreaded moment when we wake up feeling rested and realize that we are running late. The panic sets in and you bolt out of bed and hope you make it out on time whether you are riding or driving. Luckily with a few precautionary measures together we can make sure you get to school on time.

1) Setting Up A Sleep Schedule
There are many health benefits to going to sleep and waking up at the same time everyday. It's going to be much easier to get up in the morning if your body routinly gets up at the same time and if you get 8 hours of sleep. With homework and work and life it is always hard to carve out that 8 hours of sleep but it will be essential to your sanity to try to get as close to 8 hours as possible.

2)  Have Grab and Go Breakfast Options
Nuts, Granola Bars, and Fruit are perfect grab and go breakfast options. I'm never very hungry at 5:30am so I always try to have some quick breakfast options to take with me to school to eat when I am hungry.

3) Have a Routine, and if it's not working CHANGE IT
If you think you only need ten minutes to get ready, but always end up being 20 minutes to late to EVERYTHING, maybe its time to rework your routine to give yourself extra time to get ready. Whether that means waking up earlier or cutting something out of your routine- figure out what needs to be changed and do it.

Image result for Cute hipster Makeup Bag4) Always have an emergency makeup bag
Get some mini samples and throw a tiny bag in your backpack. This way if you wake up late you can put your makeup on on the bus or in the school bathroom.

6) NEVER Set your Alarm as a song
I used to this when I was younger and I realized this is just a BAD IDEA. The song just ended up playing out in my dreams and things got weird. Then I'd realize it was my alarm all along and wake up very disoriented.

7) But after you get up- Play a Peppy Song
My Jam lately has been " Can't Stop the Feeling" by Justin Timberlake. Right when I wake up I play it and I can't help but dance and hop out of my bed.

Soft Shirts and Other Monday Thoughts

-Soft Shirts-
Have you ever just found something that made you so immensely happy that may seem trivial to others but it just brings you joy? Okay so I've found these shirts and they make me so happy. They are from the brand PIKO and they are made from Bamboo and they are SO SOFT. They come in all these really soothing and earth toned colors and it's safe to say that I am absolutely obsessed. Just wearing it makes me feel like I am surrounded by comfort and wonderfulness.

I guess its just those little things that can brighten up your day.

-First Week of School-
So if you have been reading my new series "So You're Moving?", you will know that I started yet ANOTHER new school this year. People have been so loving and welcoming and I have started to really warm up to the school. I can now semi-successfully navigate myself around without a map! I mean I might have gotten lost today... but no one has to know that....except for you because I just told you.... moving on!

I really haven't vocalized this a lot on this blog but I struggle with Anxiety and Panic Attacks so first weeks are really hard for me. Near the end of this summer and that first week of school, anxiety was hitting me really hard. But I kept in touch with friends from back home and God was truly by my side helping me through that first week and I conquered it.

I've already met some really great people who have really gone out of their way to include me and make me feel conformable and get me involved.

The one thing new I've discovered is it is becomingly increasingly harder for me to keep giving my very best to each place I move. When pieces of your heart are in so many different places and with so many different people- sometimes it feels as if there is nothing else left for you to give. But if you give yourself time, if I give myself time, I might find that a piece of my heart will lie here- at this new place.

- A Message To You-
I hope you have an absolutely incredible week. At least in the US a majority of us have started school. But whether you are in school tackling the early mornings and piles of homework or you are still enjoying those last bits of summer, I hope that this week you are able to put aside any stress you are feeling or conflicts that are arising. Remind yourself everyday to smile more, laugh often, and make someone else's day.

and never forget to

"So You're Moving"- The Importance of a Phone Call

In this age we are slowly stripping the emotion out of communicating with people. I'm not saying texting and instant this and that isn't a tremendous accomplishment in the world of connecting with people. However I'm telling you that the best way to stay connected with friends and loved ones after you move is by calling them. To be completely honest I had terrible phone anxiety for the longest time, which I'm still working through- but hearing that familiar voice helps so much. That is the one thing you miss when you text someone- their voice. I don't know how to explain it but hearing something or someone familiar enables you to take control of your situation-introducing the familiar into a whirlwind of the unfamiliar.

Even better if you have the ability to FaceTime or Skype do so. It's so important to stay connected. Make sure to keep up communication throughout the school year too. Even if you are both super swamped with work and life- if you want to keep that person in your life you have to schedule in that time.

" So You're Moving" - 5 Tips for New Students

Moving schools is definitely one of the scariest parts of moving. It's an entirely new environment. New people, new teachers, new hallways- new new new! I remember the first week walking through my new school last year. It was huge and I was very not used to that. I went from a school that had 200 people to almost 3000. My hands were shaking, by mind was a buzz, and I couldn't seem to look anyone in the eye because I was just so nervous. But I found my footing and remembered who I was and I found ways to get through that first week.

1. Get Involved
Everyone says this, not only because it's an obvious way to meet people, but because it's valid. Getting involved works. I'm very passionate about music, specifically chorus and theater. Joining the women's choir at my school was one way I found people to befriend. These people shared my passion and determination and I clicked really well with them. Not only that but the first week of school, auditions were held for their One Act fall musical. It seems extremely early ( which it was ), but auditioning for that musical was one of the best decisions I've ever made. It was made up of an ensemble of 12 people, and I was a swing. That meant that I had to learn every part in the cast in order to fill in for one of them if someone dropped out and fill in during rehearsals and take notes. I proved my work ethic and talent to some very influential and key people in the department and because of that not only did I make friends but I gained a lot of respect. I even went on for a girl our closing night.

Being in these two departments absolutely shaped the course of my year there. Find something you are passionate about or interested in and get in there!

2. Learn how to Learn Names
This is a key skill in life, but it is especially essential when moving to a new place. Everyone has their own tricks. One trick I use is after they tell me their name I will repeat it out loud as well as in my head multiple times during the conversation. I also try to picture the first letter of their name over their face or notice a special feature about their appearance. Also don't be afraid to ask for their name again, they understand you are new and you have SO MANY NAMES to learn.

3.  Use Social Media to Your Advantage
Image result for instagram logoSocial Media is THE WAY to get connected with people in this generation. I always go and follow people on Instagram after I meet them- If they are unprivated. Then I usually follow this up by looking through their page and seeing what they are interested in. If they are privated I usually get to know the person a little better before following them because I realize that they only use their account for people they know personally.

Also question for thought: #InstagramStories ? How do we feel about this? As an avid Snapchat user I feel personally... well a little creeped out. Like Instagram stay in your own lane. I could see if Snapchat and them partnered up but I don't like it.

4.  Speak Up in Class
If you need to ask a question, ask it. If you want to throw in your input do it. Be an active member of the discussion. People will notice you being engaged and will want to know more about the person behind the answers.

5. Transcript Changes are the Worst- but it will all work out!
I've had some really bad encounters with switching over my credits and classes while enrolling in school. It may seem like the end of the world when things don't switch over correctly or you lose some really nice quality points because the new school you are going to doesn't offer the course, but in the long run it's going to be okay. Just Breathe and it will be okay. Make sure to look online for your school Course Handbook so you can come into your counseling session prepared.

"So You're Moving"- Take a Deep Breath

So you just found out you're moving. The first thing to remember is that everything is going to be fine. I know this seems like a slap in the face in this moment, and it's normal... you have the right to feel sad or angry about the situation. But you have to remember that moving is not going to be the end of the world. It might mean the end of a chapter in your life, but if you just take a deep breath and allow yourself to open up,  you are going to be amazed.

Whether you've lived in one place your whole life, or just for a year or two- this is going to be a difficult process. It's not suppose to be easy. You are human. You thrive when you are close to the ones you love and it's hard to imagine spending life without them right next to you. But you can make it easier on yourself by making the conscious choice to believe that you can do this. Make the decision to make the most out of every second you have. Choose to wake up every morning and smile rather than to let your situation weigh you down all day.

If you feel like no one understands what you are going through, if you feel like you're alone in this... you're not. I'm here to make this process easier for you.

One point in all of this I strive to make very clear is that you need to take some time to grieve- and that that time is necessary. You have a right to feel and you should not let anyone tell you differently. Take time to grieve but don't let that define you, please don't let it take you over. There comes a point where you have to snap out of it. You can still feel sad but coming home everyday to lie on your bed and do nothing because you're sad is not going to help you at all.  I've fallen into that trap and it was dangerous. It takes you somewhere you don't want to be.

So take a deep breath. Smile. And take the time back. Use all the time you've got to make this place, this time, this moment special. You can do this!

"So You're Moving..." - A New Series

Hey Everyone!
As a lot of you know I have moved quite a bit. If you count every house/apartment/town home that I've ever lived in-I have moved 20 times. While most of those moves occurred before I hit middle school, the most recent have been the toughest for me. As of this year I will be attending my third high school in three years...yep. But I think throughout everything, I've gathered a lot of insight about the world around me and have made more connections with people beyond what I ever could have made if I had stayed in one place.  Moving takes a lot of courage and strength to re-establish yourself and make your mark.  I may not have it all figured it out but I know I'm not the only one out there with this type of experience. I want to share with all of you how I've learned to make the most out of every second and find happiness. Over the next couple weeks I'm going to share what I've learnt through the years on a series I like to call,"So You're Moving...". Even if you have never moved or plan to, I hope you will share this with people you know who are going through this process because it is difficult for everyone even the most outgoing can have trouble adjusting.

I hope you all are having a great summer and are having a blast(blast blast)* !

Let's Catch Up!

I've cut it off and it feels so good! Hey everyone. I've been gone for a while and here's why. Life is constantly changing around me and I needed to take some time to really live life outside of the screen and stop going through the motions. Life passes by so quickly and if you don't take the time to memorize the faces of people you love and enjoy your time with them, you are going to miss it. School stuff was also pilling up so fast and I couldn't figure out where blogging fit in. While I'm still figuring out in what direction this blog will go in the future it is so comforting to know that while I was gone, you all are still reading and I wanted to thank you.

So let's catch up!

Addams Family

This last spring I was in my school's production of Addams Family the Musical. I had an absolute blast performing with such a talented cast. I was an Ancestor and a featured dancer. I haven't truly voiced my love of theater on this blog. I love performing! If you have never seen a show or participated in one I thoroughly encourage you to do so. You may be pleasantly surprised at what you find. The theater challenges you to suspend your belief and open your mind to new possibilities and open yourself to be amazed at how 2 hours can change your life so much.

Driver's Permit
I finally got my drivers permit! While I can't drive by myself yet I am one step closer to claiming that independence.

6 inches Off!

I've needed to change my hair up for a while. Following in the footsteps of many trendy people before me I jumped at the chance of summer experimentation and got myself a lob. I absolutely love it. If feels like a giant weight has been lifted off my shoulders...literally. I also got some highlights put in it. I knew I wanted something summery and chic so I just went for it.

A Hike to Remember

Well I'm not usually one to venture outdoors for a hike in my free time but one of my very best friends had been asking me to go with her for a while so I decided why not. Now I'm not going to lie my endurance isn't the best but I just had a blast. We went when the sun was setting so it was cooling down and the breeze was flowing. We talked about our lives and what our goals for this summer were. It was a new experience for me and I was glad I got to do it with her. Plus I mean I got the perfect picture for National Handstand Day.

BRING JUSTICE-END THE BACKLOG

April is Sexual Assault Awareness month and I'd like to provide you with an opportunity to enact change in the United States to help survivors of Sexual Violence. In the United States the number of Sexual Violence cases have risen to astronomical amounts. Rape in particular is a very prevalent issue. Every time a victim goes to a medical facility to be treated after they have been raped, a nurse will conduct an examination of the patient to complete the contents of a RAPE KIT. These rape kits are then transported to Law Enforcement facilities to be DNA tested.

However in the United States, many of the Kits that are suppose to be tested right away, are getting thrown in storage facilities and might not be touched for many years. These kits are considered to be backlogged. In Texas alone there are 20,000 Rape Kits yet to be tested, 13,435 in Florida, 15,217 in Michigan. When the kits are not tested in a timely manner, trial dates can be pushed farther and farther out and the victim may not receive justice for an overly exaggerated period of time. Perhaps the scariest part in all of this, is that some jurisdictions are not required to report their numbers, meaning that the number of untested kits out there is a lot larger than we think.

END THE BACKLOG is a movement created to educate people in the United States about this devastating issue. It is also to bright light to the states that still need to make reforms in their policies-putting an end to the lack of efficiency.

Advocates create change, and that is what I'm calling you to do. I am creating a Letter Writing Campaign for my World Lit class. I'm looking for writers who would be willing to write letters to their state government officials about this issue. If you are interested in helping me END THE BACKLOG please send me an email at: endthebacklog@gmail.com

Not only will you be helping me with my project, you will also be contributing to a great cause!

Spring Outfit Inspiration

Spring may be my yearly reminder that allergies are a woman's worst enemy, but what spring lacks in sneeze security it makes up for in amazing spectacles of life and color. While visiting my grandparents over spring break, which was needed more than I first realized, I figured, what better way to pass some time than with a little photo shoot. As per the usual, my sister Chloe took all of my pictures.

I got this GORGEOUS flowered drape in China Epcot at Disney World. I walked into the store, saw it, and immediately bought it. It's color captivated me and the flower detail is just so beautiful, I knew I couldn't pass it up.I don't remember it being all that expensive either. Whenever I where this I feel like the queen of the world! It's also really fun to run down the aisles of stores ,grab the ends, and flap my "wings" like a butterfly :)

This beautiful purple swing dress was purchased at Macy's. It was the last one on the clearance rack so I got it for only 12.99! This was especially a steal considering these are so on trend right now. When I arrived at the register to pay, both the lady beside me and the cashier were flabbergasted at the price. It was actually quite a humorous scene. The only issue I have with this dress is that it is quite see through, so a tank top and shorts are needed when putting together an ensemble. I have come to fall in love with the swing style of the dress. The waist line is raised to create the swingy fit of the dress, which a strange choice for me but I have decided to embrace it.

My necklace is from Evolution Lighthouse. It has Jeremiah 29:11 on it which is my favorite Bible Verse. Be on the look out for a post about this company and this beautiful necklace soon!

My Brown Wedged Sandals are from Bass. I usually don't invest in high heels because ,being 5'7 1/2 , I feel a little strange towering over my friends. But every girl needs a great pair of brown sandal wedges. They're versatile and really dress up any outfit. One thing I find so interesting about these shoes is that they make me feel so confident!  When I walk anywhere I feel like a super model strutting down a runway. It's a little insane to think that one pair of shoes can do that, but I'm a believer.

Rose Quartz and Serenity: Colors of Spring

Spring is here and it's time to shed off that winter coat and embrace the warm weather (well when it's warm, the weather can never decide what it wants to do). If your looking to spice up your wardrobe this spring, take a hint from Pantone's Color of the Year 2016: Rose Quartz and Serenity.
Spring fashion: ☼ nσt єvєn thє ѕun cαn ѕhínє αѕ вríght αѕ чσu ☼:
Executive Director, Leatrice Eiseman writes, "With the whole greater than its individual parts, joined together Serenity and Rose Quartz demonstrate an inherent balance between a warmer embracing rose tone and the cooler tranquil blue, reflecting connection and wellness as well as a soothing sense of order and peace".

Don't we all need a little peace during this time of frighting uncertainty?. Speaking of, I just want to take a moment to speak to all of you who are reading from Belgium: over here in American we are thinking about you and I hope that all of you are safe and sound. I also hope your families are well.

I am hoping to add some Rose Quartz and Serenity pieces to my wardrobe this spring. What about you?

The Truth: Do You Really Need To Wash Your Jeans?

A good pair of jeans can be a girl's best friend. You know what I'm talking about! The jeans that make an outfit come together, the jeans that are just the right color, the jeans that fit your posterior just right. ;) My favorite jeans come from American Eagle. They are super soft, and stretchy, and AE is the only place I can find where the jeans fit PERFECTLY.
Are you taking proper care of your jeans? Jeans were originally created to be used by hard working men, that completed very taxing jobs. They can withstand a lot! In reality, you don't need to wash your jeans after every use.

What... you are telling me to not wash my clothes? That's disgusting!

I'm serious! Even the CEO of the Levi's Company, confessed he didn't wash his jeans regularly, in fact he hadn't washed his in up to a year. If you are worried about odor...

1)   AND
from Elle Magazine recommend freezing your jeans? Intrigued? Here is the link to their article: http://www.elle.com/fashion/news/a18776/levis-jeans-in-bag/

2) Another way to eliminate odor? Reviewed.com recommends,among other things, giving your jeans a steam shower. So while your lathering, and finishing up your nightly routine, your jeans can also get clean.

So next time you are tempted to toss your jeans in the abyss that is your laundry basket, remember you know the truth! Have a WONDERFUL, AMAZING, AND BEAUTIFUL DAY!

Into it or Over It: Spidery Lashes

The one item I can never go out of the house without putting on, is mascara. Its the one part of my daily makeup routine that I enjoy the most. My eye lashes are also pretty long, and without mascara they stick straight out. But the minute I swipe on mascara, I feel like I can conquer the world. The one thing I always strive, but perhaps never truly achieve, are clump free lashes! However the one trend that popped up constantly at New York Fashion was
Spidery Lashes...ugh. Makeup on the runway is always evolving. But this blast from the past, is not something I am going to be trying any time soon. I can't handle it. I want to rush into these pics with a lash comb and go to town. I just can't imagine walking out of my house like that! I thinks it's safe to say I'm COMPLETELY OVER IT.

A Barbie Revolution!

After years of being blond, forced arched, and unrealistically proportioned... Barbie has been given a reboot. The new "Fashionistas" Line promotes body confidence for all shapes ,  sizes, hair-types, and races. Barbie is redefining what it means to be beautiful and encouraging a whole new generation of girls to see beauty in a new light. The original Barbie design is included in the new line, but she is accompanied by a whole new squad of  fabulous counterparts.  I think this is just amazing. Many young girls and boys alike struggle with body confidence issues, stemming from being bombarded with false images of what the human body really looks like. By changing the narrative from the beginning, we may be able to see a shift in the next generation of teenagers. I'm excited to see how this change, impacts others. Let's keep the conversation going! What do you think? Leave your comments below...

LoracPro Pallet

I received this pallet as a gift from my Mama. I really enjoy this collection of shadows. Not only does it contain very wearable looks, you can also create looks for formal events. The top row of shadows are all matte shadows while they bottom row are all shimmers. I love that the designer chose to do it this way. The color pigmentation is vibrant, and I've noticed by the end of the day the shadow does not collect up in the crease. This pallet is very convenient, its very thin and sleek. Definitely great for travel, which is great because I travel a lot! One of my favorites for sure. The provided eye primer also is amazing, it definitely kept my HOCO ensemble together :)

Origami Butterflies

The artist's eye is incredible. Some people just have the ability to see the world through different lenses and say everything without speaking a word.

Personally I am not a fan of Origami...at all. I remember my fifth grade teacher trying to engage our class in a fun demonstration of transforming sticky note Christmas ornaments into stars. Let's just say I left the class bawling my eyes out. But because this piece is so captivating, I will forgive the fact that it once made me cry.

One Thousand Origami Butterflies
Originally shown in Australia, artist Taegan Roberts pays tribute to her mother in this piece entitled ,"Peel Your Eyes". I find this so intriguing and beautiful. Each individual butterfly is positioned perfectly over a single light.  If you want more information: http://www.mymodernmet.com

Now We've Got Wild Dreams...

Taylor Swift not only has incredible style (Wink, wink) but her newest album 1989 has some amazing tracks. Two men by the names of Nigel Tay and Tim Reynolds, have taken Taylor to the next level! I thought their mash up of Bad Blood and Wildest Dreams was absolutely incredible so I thought I share it with you.
I'M SERIOUS IT IS AMAZING

Their talent is undeniable. What did you think?

How to Avoid a Painful Winter

Dry and cracked Hands?
Udderly Smooth Udder Cream, Lightly Scented- 12 oz
If your hands are REALLY BAD, try this.
This is THE best stuff. Not going to lie though it
smells a little funky.
- Try This! Before you go to sleep every night apply a generous amount of non-scented lotion to your hands. Then put your hands in cotton socks and get some rest. Repeat this process every night throughout the winter. My hands used to become so cracked in the winter, the skin would break until they were raw in some spaces. I know what your thinking...OUCH. But this is the best method I have ever used.

Chapped Lips?
- Nobody likes chapped lips! Chapstick will be your best friend this winter. For the worst in split lips, I like to use Medicated Carmex. This stuff works wonders.

Flaky Skin?
-Use a moisturizer. I really need to practice what I preach on this one. Do you have a favorite face moisturizer I should check out? Leave it in the comments!

Itchy Scalp?
- Lets get real for a moment. Nobody wants to admit they have dandruff. It's cold outside and itchy, flaky scalp is a lot more common then you think. Head and Shoulders is a great drug store brand dandruff preventative cleansing system.

Project Runway Junior

Photo: https://pmcvariety.files.wordpress.com/2015/09/project-runway-junior-cast.jpg?w=670&h=377&crop=1

I am a huge project runway fan, and I have been for a long time! This year teenagers have taken over the runway. The show is coming up on its seventh episode. I love the contestants new and fresh perspective on fashion and design. Supermodel Hannah Davis fills in for Heidi Klum as host and head judge. Filling up the rest of the panel, we have Kelly Osbourne, Christian Siriano, and Aya Kanai, and of course the amazing, Tim Gunn, mentors the young designers as each challenge progresses. I am so excited to see who wins the entire competition! The show airs Thursdays at 9/8c.

AEsthetica Cosmetics

For Christmas I received some really amazing makeup products from my parents. Even though I've only used them for three weeks, I am in love with these products. The quality of the brushes are phenomenal. They are so soft!

The top three shadows are used as highlighting shades and the bottom three for are for contouring. The shadows are also removable so when you run out of one you can just replace that shadow instead of the entire kit. I also love the packaging! It's sleek and elegant and great for traveling. I'm excited to keep using these products, and create amazing looks to share with you.

Here's To The New Year

I truly can't believe what I'm about to write. This year has been crazy. Last year I sat down at this time and came up with my list of "New Year's Goals". I never wanted to call them resolutions because I felt like if I called them something different, it would make me want to accomplish them more. As I look back at the goals I'd made, let's face it,  I didn't stick to many of them. But looking back at the list, I had forgotten about number ten...

10. I want to say that at the end of the year that I am genuinely happy: This year my life will 99.9 % be changing drastically. While I am scared and sad, I am excited to embark on a new journey and see what wonderful opportunities unfold!

Well that 99.9% changed to a 100% as I made my move at the end of the school year and journeyed to my new home. I have to say that even though this year has been absolutely insane, I am happy. I was afraid I wouldn't be, but I am, and that's pretty cool. Have a Fabulous 2016 everyone.
