Fuller House?!?

I'm so excited! The cast of the beloved 1980's-1990's feel good family show, Full House, is making a glorious return to your television. "Fuller House" will follow a very similar plot line to the original, but DJ Tanner will take on her new motherly role as her new family moves back into her childhood home. The show is to feature your favorite characters, such as Uncle Jessie, Aunt Becky, and annoying best friend Kimmy Gibbler. Unfortunately Michelle Tanner will not be making her reappearance, as "she" will be in New York trailblazing the fashion scene. Today Netflix released the first teaser for the show, and to have just come home from a stressful day of finals, this was probably the best news ever. It will be coming to your Netflix account sometime in 2016. What a way to bring in the new year! Check it Out!

2 Year Blogiversary

Well it's that time of year again. Today is the two year anniversary of FABULOUS. I can't believe how much this blog has grown and developed into something so amazing. My goal was to reach 10,000 page views by today, and to be at over 10,600 is absolutely incredible. I truly don't think I would be the same person today if I never started this blog. There were times where I considered stopping, but at some point I realized that this was one of the only spaces where I could produce whatever I wanted, my way, and really just create something I loved, and could be proud of. I want to thank each and every one of you who reads and stays active, and who spread the word. Without you, I would never be motivated to keep writing. I hope that this blog just continues to grow with me, and I continue to improve. I also hope that reader-blogger interaction would grow as well
. I hope all of you are having a wonderful week. Happy Blogiversary.

5 Things You Should Be Doing with Your Beauty Blender

1. Replace it every 2 Months
This every day tool is going to take on some serious wear-and-tear in your makeup arsenal. At its core, the beauty blender is a sponge and is not going to last forever. The unfortunate part about the "every two months rule" is that this miracle tool is pretty expensive. So if you need to stretch it a little, just be extra careful.

2. NEVER put it in a cabinet still wet
I was watching one of my all time favorite Youtubers yesterday and she was noticing that Beauty blender was littered with black mold spots. This happened because she was placing her wet BB in the cabinet still wet. You are constantly using a BB on your skin and you do not need to be blending in your makeup with a MOLDY SPONGE.

3. Don't just use it with your foundation
The beauty Blender sponge is perfect for not only foundation, but I also use it to blend in my concealer and highlighter. Also if I have made a contouring mistake and placed too much bronzer, I will take my BB and blend the powder into my skin better to create a more natural look.

4. Wash it once a week
The down side of BB sponges is they can gather lots of bacteria. To prevent spreading this bacteria to your face, wash it once a week. Just run it under some warm water and lather it with baby soap. Wash it until the running water becomes clear and the sponge has no visible makeup left on it. As you can see in the photo my beauty blender still needs to be washed more.

5. Use a stippling motion
Some people use a swiping motion while using the sponge. But the sponge was designed to be used in a patting or stippling motion. This motion the best blended look.

Buy and Try?

Hey Guys!
I was inspired by one of my favorite youtubers, Chelsea Crockett, to start a new series called Buy and Try, where each month I will try a few products and tell you what I think of them. Since this is the first month, I only have things I bought.

1. TRESemme Heat Tamer Spray
Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray
http://www.tresemme.com/product/detail/353275/thermal-creations-heat-tamer-spray
I've heard such great things about this product and I've needed a new heat protector for a while now, so I decided I'd give it a try!

2. Maybelline Unstoppable Eyeliner in 701
Unstoppable® Eyeliner
http://www.maybelline.com/Products/Eye-Makeup/Eye-Liner/unstoppable-eyeliner.aspx
I've always been a fan of the Maybelline eyeliners. I've been searching for a really good waterproof eyeliner for tight-lining my eyes.

3. Maybelline DreamLumi touch Highlighting Concealer
Dream Lumi™ Touch Highlighting Concealer
http://www.maybelline.com/products/face-makeup/concealer/dream-lumi-touch-highlighting-concealer.aspx
I absolutely love Maybelline Age rewind concealer, but when I went to the store they were out of my shade! I looked online for the best drugstore concealers and this one was on the list. I thought...why not?

Next Month I will give you my verdict on these products, but until them HAPPY DECEMBER!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!
Another year, another turkey, and another Thanksgiving is upon us. I've already had dinner and I am absolutely stuffed! And while I wished for snow, the 68 degree weather is not all that bad. There is so much to be thankful for in my life, and Thanksgiving is the perfect day to think back and recognize all the blessings I've received. I'm so thankful for the friends I've made and the friends I've said goodbye to. I'm grateful for my family and for the opportunity I have everyday to do what I love to do. I'm also so thankful for all of you out there reading my blog every week, and I hope you keep reading. Have a FABULOUS Thanksgiving everyone!

My Favorite 5 Looks: American Music Awards

Last night the American Music Awards were full of stellar performances, stars, and a killer red carpet. These are some of my favorite looks from the 2015 American Music Awards!

One Direction:
Artist Of The Year nominees (L-R) Liam Payne, from
http://www.usatoday.com/picture-gallery/life/music/2015/11/22/photos-2015-american-music-awards-red-carpet/76231880/
One directions style evolution from teen boy band heart throbs to these spiffy looking gentlemen has definitely been an exciting one. I applaud their stylists on being able to create an elegant cohesive look, perfect for the AMA's.

Selena Gomez

http://www.usatoday.com/picture-gallery/life/music/2015/11/22/photos-2015-american-music-awards-red-carpet/76231880/
Ms. Gomez always looks stunning but I especially love this look. From top to bottom she looks absolutely amazing. The winning piece of this look for me is definitely her sparkly red dress. Her smokey makeup and super straight hair compliment while not overpowering.

Bailee Madison
Bailee Madison AMA

Bailee looks so elegant in this long sleeve ensemble. Her dark lips really compliment the sandy sparkly color of this dress. I also commend her choice to wear an updo, instead of going with a traditional curly blowout look. It really works in the dresses favor.

Rachel Black
Rebecca Black arrives at the American Music Awards
http://www.usatoday.com/picture-gallery/life/music/2015/11/22/photos-2015-american-music-awards-red-carpet/76231880/
Singer and Youtuber Rachel looks classy and comfortable on the AMA's red carpet. The added lace work on the sleeves and pant legs really give this outfit the extra edge.

Chelsea Briggs
http://www.bustle.com/articles/125531-all-the-looks-from-the-2015-amas-red-carpet-are-stunning-photos
I am IN.LOVE with this white and black two piece dress. The geometric black line work on this dress is so effective in elongating her body and giving it an extra something.

This red carpet was definitely a...FABULOUS one.

10,000 Pageviews!

I am so amazed. I haven't even hit my two year blogiversary yet, and we have hit *drum roll please*
10,000 pageviews. (10,200 at the time I am writing this). When I started this blog, I was in such a strange point. I was struggling to find acceptance and a new purpose in my life. As I've said before YouTube and the fashion community were my escape. I decided to channel my love for fashion and makeup into this blog. As I grew and my interests developed, my blog grew with it. I just wanted to touch base and say thank you to all of you you have been reading from the start! I am so blessed and I can't wait to see how we grow

Into It or Over It: Over-lining Lips

Large lips have always fluctuated in and out of style. But they have been making a recent comeback. Their overwhelming return can be traced back to Instagram celebrity and reality tv's " Keeping up with the Kardashians", Kylie Jenner. Kylie's introduction to overlining her lips, started a HUGE trend. The bigger the better some would say.
While I've never really tried out her method, to be honest, I find that this advanced makeup technique is a little...much. However I must say that, the over lined lip look photographs well. But if this technique is not done right, the natural lip line is totally visible and distracting. Its definitely a hard look to pull off.

I'm completely OVER this trend. I say embrace your natural lips! You can always play them up with a fun color, or a rich red for the fall time. Although if you are wanting to plump your pout a bit go for it! The time to experiment in makeup is now.

Quick Tip: Overnight Curls

Curling my hair with a wand, usually takes anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes. That is way too long for me to spend on my hair on a school day! However when I stumbled across this video from Hair Guru Kayley Melissa, my curl game changed for the better. Her method is quick and effective. It is also actually comfortable to sleep in. It is a little weird at first, but you get used to it. She calls them Halo Curls and you will see why!

Check it Out:

Homecoming: Hairstyle, Dress, What I Learned!

For only a couple nights a year, young ladies and lads get to dress up in sparkly dresses and tuxedos, and dance the night away with all of their friends. This last weekend I attended my first homecoming. While I didn't know many people, it was still a fun night. I was absolutely in love with my dress and my hair and the entire ensemble really came together,. I hope all of you had fun at your homecomings as well.

My Hair:

I was inspired by a youtuber named Tess Christine to create this elegant flower-esque updo. If I were to do this updo again I would definitely create more volume on top, so it wouldn't be so close to my head. For more information on how to do this hairstyle check out the video below. I would say that this hairstyle requires a friend to help out!

My Dress:

My dress was actually a surprise from my mom the week before homecoming. The color is stunning, the length was perfect, and the back of the dress was my favorite part. I think the best part of the dress was it was really different than everyone elses ( except for the one girl who had the same dress as me).
*we made a total joke about it though so It was all good.

My friend Caroline and I

What I learned:

You have to give yourself to the night. If you allow yourself to dance and laugh and just have a good time, your going to have a good time! Make sure you go outside for some air periodically so you don't get to sweaty. Don't eat too much before you go. Overall be you and let loose, and whip till ya drop!

Altar'd State

Lately I've been in a shopping rut. Sure American Eagle and Aeropostale are amazing stores, but I wanted to branch out and try something new. Unfortunately where I lived, shopping was pretty limited. Now with the move, my eyes are opened to new and amazing fashion opportunities. The first time I walked into an Altar'd State my eyes lit up and a huge smile spread across my face. After making my rounds of the store I was thoroughly convinced....
I had found my new favorite store. I just feel so at home there. By the dressing rooms, there was a book where you could write down prayer requests, which I thought was super cute. Their clothes are so unique and special so I figured I'd share it with you all. I also just recently got to check out there new fall collection and I wish I had a job so I could buy the entire store! I could go on forever on what they stand for and the amazing work they are doing but you should go check it out for yourself:http://www.altardstate.com/

Naked 2 Pallet- Is It Worth It?

I received the Naked 2 Pallet from my grandmother for Christmas last year, and I figured that I've had it long enough to do a review on it. The Urban Decay- Naked Line is really a favorite of mine, as well as many other's in the beauty community. The Naked pallets are known for their high quality, incredibly pigmented colors, and easy blending ability. When I first held it in my hands I knew that my makeup game would never be the same, from now on it would be flawless!

Durability:
I am a very accident prone person. I have dropped this pallet many times. This pallet has done an amazing job of keeping intact! One of the shadows has dislodged itself unfortunately, however it has not shattered. Also I have not gotten through a single shadow yet, and I use this pallet almost everyday.

Overall I really love this pallet. I haven't really played with the gray and silver too much. But I do have to say that this pallet would be nothing without its counterpart- Naked 2 Basics. My favorite thing about the pallet is that it is ready to use for everyday or night, school or elegant formal wear, the versatility is endless. It may be pricey but my ruling....

WORTH IT

My Favorite Emmy's 2015 Red Carpet Looks

Sarah Hyland rocked the Emmys Carpet in this stunning off the shoulder Zac Posen dress. The color of this dress really complements her skin tone and really brings in the fall season. This dress is so gorgeous on her, and may I say her stylist did an amazing job with the accessory choices. Sarah pulled this look together with easy waves and a fresh faced makeup look, with a bold eye.

Ariel Winters took the "Red Carpet" to another level in this stunning red Romona Keveza original. I'm really liking the asymmetrical neckline. She looks so amazing, and I think the silver accent jewelry and Big Glamourous curls really tie the look together.

2015-emmys-red-carpet-best-dressed-gina-rodriguez
Gina Rodriguez reminds me of the ice queen in this Lorena Sarbu (in the best way possible). Snow looks like it is falling and hanging around her body. I also like how her stylist choose to pull her hair back, which judging from the heat was not only a very elegant choice, but a practical one.

2015-emmys-red-carpet-best-dressed-maisie-williams
Maisie Williams is giving me some serious nostalgia in this ensemble. Girly and Pink is the theme of this outfit. Ermanno Scervino did a really nice job with this dress. Can we just talk about her shoes? They remind me of this famous pen...

2015-emmys-red-carpet-best-dressed-emma-roberts
Emma Roberts looks amazing in this Jenny Packham original. Her blonde hair looks amazing against this champagne colored dress. This dress is very easy and flowy and I really like it.

But the hot ticket item of the Red Carpet was something new. #SmartGirlsAsk
Amy Poehler’s online community Smart Girls started this hashtag to enable women to be asked the red carpet questions that should be asked, other than the just " who are you wearing?", by letting twitter users tweet in questions for the women attend the Emmy's. Want more information:

Top 6: Back to School Survival Tips

Well folks due to the inevitable orbiting of our earth around the sun, I have started school!
This is officially my second week, and while I am surviving I figured I'd share my top 6 high school survival tips with you all, in hopes that maybe some of you starting school will be able to retain some of your sanity.
http://mrwgifs.com/sheldon-cooper-freaking-out-reaction-gif-on-big-bang-theory/
1) Bring Snacks
Your body needs fuel to keep you going throughout the day. I suggest packing a small snack that will keep you full and satisfied like pretzels. Just make sure you only eat , if the teacher allows it.

2) Keep a hair elastic with you at all times!

 • This tip really is the gymnast inside talking. If you have long hair, like myself, or even medium length hair your going to get hot during the day. No one wants to be all sweaty, and I'd rather sacrifice a good hair day then getting overheated.

3) Have Gum or Mints

 • Not only is this a conversation starter, but lets be real, no one likes awful smelling breath. Your going to be talking with people and conversing and having fun, don't kill the mood with bad breath. Be careful though once you open that pack there might be a stampede. Plus Winter Green mints... they're magical.

4) Please wear sensitive shoes

 • If you cant walk in heels, do not wear them to school. Your mission is to get from point A to point B as quickly as possible.

5) Do your Homework

 • Unfortunately there will be teachers that will give you homework on the first day of school. Just get over it , and get into the habit of getting it done. Once you get back into the groove it wont seem so bad.

6) Get peoples numbers

 • Reach out and ask for peoples numbers in each class. This way if you miss something a day in class, you can ask them what happened that day. And who knows, maybe you'll even turn out to be good friends.

Top 7: Thoughts About Moving

Is the 8th time the charm? Well I hope so. I have moved 8 times in my 15 1/2 years, and each time has been different. However the thoughts that run through your head are pretty much all the same. Without any further ado...

1. But I Just Got Comfortable

" NOT AGAIN YOU PROMISED!!!"
2. I have to leave all my friends

This is seriously the hardest part of it all. You eventually make new friends and meet new people, but you will always always miss the people you share any part of your life with.

3. I have to move houses

This is hard- when all the furniture is out, and you stand in an empty room, its depressing.
4. I have to switch schools

This is my reaction-
PS Posting this today and I have survived through two days of school

Then It Switches into good thoughts...

5. No One Has Ever Seen My Wardrobe Before

This was actually an awesome realization for me! You don't even have to go back to school shopping.

6. No One Knows Me

I can be who ever I want to be! No one knows who I am, so I could totally reinvent myself. (Which I didn't)... But seriously what could make you want to turn over a new leaf, then a move.

7. Maybe This Won't Be So Bad :)

Top 8: Styles

When someone asks you what your style is, what would you say? Would you know what to say? Usually I say my style is a mixture of a lot of different things. I'd define my style as girly, glam, with an Edgy twist. Here are 8 styles that I find people fit into. Comment down below which number you are!

1. Edgy

Leather, army green, and grunge is the cry of the edgy generation. If you think "Edgy" is about wearing all black then you've got it wrong. Having an edgy style is about pushing the boundaries and mystery coming together to create a storm of fashion supremacy.

2.Girly

This style is about taking things you would wear as a child, and bringing them into modern day. Floral and pastel, and polka dots are the staples of this style. This style is easy to combine with others though.

3. Bohemian

I personally love the bohemian style and I wish I could incorporate more of it into my wardrobe. Bohemian is all about reflecting the beauty of the earth through your clothing. Whether this means earth toned colors or gorgeous flowers intricately braided into ones hair.

4. Men's Wear Inspired

This is a really cool trend and style. This style is really all about the cut and tailoring of the garments. I think this style is almost futuristic in a way. It is very rare that one can really pull of this style, but those who can, I commend.

5. Eclectic

To have an eclectic style is to pull inspiration from various different places and styles. Its the art of combining something and creating something completely new.

6. Vintage

Taking something from decades and decades past and creating a new and modern look is truly remarkable. This style is stunning and cute and I just love it!

7. Preppy

Golf Course chic is how I like to describe this style. Collared shirts, colored shorts, and monogrammed bags are definitely staples that define a prep.

8. Glam

This style is a mixture of edgy, girly, and fashionista. This style is all about taking formal attire down one notch and taking it to the streets. Who doesn't want to look fabulous all the time, AM I RIGHT?

Top Nine : High School Expectations VS Reality "Freshman Year":

Our summer count down is still in session and I'm sorry I didn't get to this yesterday, but it is currently 11:30 and I'm inspired so lets get to it. This expectations vs reality concept has been floating around YouTube for a while so I decided that I'd give it ago, but in a written form.

So I'm going to be an incoming high school Sophomore this year and I have to say freshman year, for the most part, was awesome and I will remember it for a long time. But lets be real, it was STRESSFUL. As I've previously mentioned I did go to a Performing Arts High School so my experience probably was a little different from the average, but I'm sure there are topics that carry through every high school environment.

1. The "Popular Crowd"
Expectation: There will be this one group of girls who always looks fabulous, is rich, has fancy cars, and is extremely rude and passive aggressive to every "non popular " individual. Then there's the group of super attractive males who play football that every girl fawns over.

Reality: The people who were considered popular at my school were usually seniors who were super advanced in their art, and were genuinely nice to people. It was cool, their were no mean girls who roamed the halls in slow-mo, or tossing of lunch, it was just people who loved what they did, and treated people like people.

2. The " High School Musical" Fantasy
Expectation: I would meet a guy at a ski resort before school started and we'd both change the social dynamic of the school ,and its various stereotypes would be crushed by our bravery and commitment to do what we loved while everyone broke out into musical numbers on the spot.

Reality: The guy part aside, I came in knowing only a few, made some great friends, and yes, sometimes we did break out into song and choreographed routines. What can I say, we were musical theater students.

3.The Look
Expectation: Every morning I'm going to wake up at 6:00 o'clock and take a shower and curl my hair. Then I'm going to make myself coffee and watch some tv. Then I will stroll up the stairs casually to finish my morning routine activities.

Reality: Oh MY GOODNESS! I woke up late again. Now I have to run downstairs grab my coffee and breakfast, bring it upstairs, blow dry my hair, throw something on, do a quick version of the makeup routine, run out the door and pray that I didn't forget anything.

4. Meeting the Guy Of My Dreams!
Expectation: I'll see him on the first day and just now that there is something special about him. Our eyes will lock and by the end of the year we are the couple that everybody " Awwwws" at.

Reality: no. Enough said

5. Going to Parties!
Expectation: There's a party and anybody who is anybody will be there. And I. have. been. invited!!! Now I have to find the perfect outfit, and grab my group of girls and dance the night away.

Reality: no. I did go to a Quincenera and a Masquerade ball so I think those were better than any high school party anyways. They were both a lot of fun and I learned a lot!

6. The Locker
Expectation: My locker is going to be spectacular this year. I'm going to get a white board, and a chandelier, and a locker rug. I need to start looking up Youtube videos for inspiration this minute!

Reality: In all honesty I didn't do one thing with my locker! No frills, no decoration, nothing.

7.Football Games
Expectation: The whole school will be there! I'm so excited! Even though I know absolutely nothing about football I think this is an essential part of my high school experience!

Reality: My school didn't have sports. If you wanted to do any outside activities you had to sign a contract with both school ensuring your work at both would not decline.

8. The supplies
Expectation: I know I say I want cute supplies but I think I probably should go with a simple color coded system that will keep me organized and will ensure success !

Reality: I actually went out and bought almost the entire Teen Vogue School Supply section and
I DON'T REGRET IT!

9.Social Life
Expectations: I'm going to hang out with my friends every single weekend. It will be a blast. We will go out to get frozen yogurt and hang out at the mall.

Reality: Social Life, what is that? I've never heard of such a thing. Don't you have rehearsal, don't you have a show coming up, don't you have homework, DO YOU SLEEP, ARE YOU SANE?

As you can see, my first year of high school didn't turn out exactly as expected but in all honesty, in the end it was a great year.

<3 Stay Fabulous <3
